Skåne Stadsmission’s Unga Forum offers at-risk children, including unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, a combination of services such as legal, practical and social support. In light of the refugee crisis, there is a dire need for Unga Forum to increase its staff to better complement existing services provided by authorities. Childhood is funding an additional full-time lawyer and a part-time social worker who are part of a team providing concrete and much-needed assistance to vulnerable children and their families. The project also includes monthly drop-in sessions in libraries, asylum hostels and social services accommodation, thereby reaching more people and informing them of the services offered.
