On 20 June, the Advisory Group for Childonomics, a research projected intended to develop a tool to determine long-term social and economic return of investing in children, met in Brussels for its final meeting. The final output of the project in pilot countries Malta and Romania is scheduled to be presented at the International Foster Care Organisations (IFCO) World Conference in November 2017.
This country care review includes the care related Concluding Observations adopted by the Committee on the Rights of the Child as part of its examination during the sixty-second session (14 January- 1 February 2013) of Malta’s combined second periodic reports to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, as well as other care-related concluding observations, ratification dates, and links to the Universal Periodic Review and Hague Intercountry Adoption Country Profile.
The International Foster Care Organisation's European Training Seminar will take place November 18-21, 2007 in Malta. The seminar is aimed at participants from the EU, EEA, CIS, CEE & North Africa, but welcomes people from around the world. It will be followed by the EuroChild annual conference.
