This report from the UN High Commissioner for Refugees details the experiences of Syrian refugee children and youth. The report presents findings from a research project that sought to understand the refugee crisis from the perspectives of children by conducting a desk review, interviews, and focus groups with children and families to collect both quantitative as well as qualitative data and narrative information on the daily lives of Syrian refugee children living in Lebanon and Jordan. The goal of this report is to put a human face on the crisis, to raise awareness of the child protection needs in the region, and to highlight gaps in responding to the needs of these children and families where attention from the international community is most needed.
