To mark the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the 10th anniversary of the Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children, this special issue of the BCN newsletter features brief reflections from several key actors on different topics and aspects of children's care, focusing on the last 10 years of progress in the care reform movement, as well as hopes and recommendations for the future. 

This webinar - presented by the Kenya Society of Care Leavers (KESCA), the Uganda Care Leavers (UCL), The Better Care Network and Changing the Way We Care - offered policy makers, practitioners, advocates and careleavers a unique opportunity to listen and learn from two leaders of careleaver associations who highlighted two recent documents that illustrate the careleaver experience within and outside of care.
