This conference, co-hosted by PUSKAPA and the Care and Protection of Children (CPC) Learning Network, will focus on the theme: "Finding Scientific Answer to the 21st Century Challenges for Families, Communities, and Public Policy." The conference will convene interdisciplinary experts, researchers, practitioners, and decision-makers in the area of human rights law and activism, public health, education, psychology, anthropology, sociology and social work—and expertise that covers children’s rights, child protection, violence against children, violence against women and girls, psychosocial support, community child protection, social norms change, and others.
All of the participants will be engaged in interdisciplinary discussions on addressing the problems and finding solutions for the issue of:
- Children and climate change migration
- Social norms that underlie harms to children
- Children and technology
The conference will be held 12-14 December 2018 in Bali, Indonesia.
