Professor Julie Selwyn, Levana Magnus and Dr Bobby Stuijfzand - University of Bristol School for Policy Studies and Coram Voice

This report from the University of Bristol School for Policy Studies and Coram Voice presents findings from a 2017 survey, in which 2,263 looked after children and young people from 16 local authorities in the United Kingdom completed the ‘Your Life, Your Care’ survey to determine their subjective, self-reported wellbeing. In 2017, we published our fi rst report on the subjective well-being of children who were looked after (Selwyn & Briheim-Crookall, 2017). The report examines children’s responses to survey questions that asked about their subjective well-being and different areas of their lives – their relationships, rights, resilience, and recovery. The report outlines the demographics of the children and young people surveyed and presents general trends in their responses.
