Child Protection organizations in Armenia have recently joined forces to launch a campaign to end violence against children, called "Share Love, Not Violence." It is a "five-year public campaign that aims to reduce violence against children at home, in schools and anywhere else it occurs," according to the article from Osservatorio Balcani e Caucaso. The campaign is aimed at reforming existing legislation in child protection, creating comprehensive rehabilitation services for children who have experienced violence, forging partnerships with state agencies and police, engaging donors and the business sector to make violence against children a priority in their corporate social responsibility agendas, and raising public awareness particularly around corporal punishment. The campaign is also relatively unique in Armenia as it has actively involved several media organizations as well as children themselves.
