This article from the Global Press Journal explains a new law in Argentina, expected to be implemented in 2018, which would offer support to young people aging out of the care system. According to the article, "Young people who age out of the state system will have the option to enroll in a program in which they would receive a monthly income equivalent to 80 percent of the minimum wage – 7,600 Argentine pesos ($516) – and would be matched with a mentor. The program would last until a person turns 21, with a possible extension to the age of 25 if the person is studying or otherwise preparing for a career.
