Funding and Budgets
Funding and budgets deals with the care sector budget allocation and expenditure. At a systems level, this relates to government expenditure and percentage of national or state budgets allocated to care and child protection services. External sources of funds may contribute towards government budgets, such as bilateral aid, however it is common for overseas funding to bypass government budgets and directly support non-government service providers.
