Description

GHR's global development work includes a focus on children in families. GHR Foundation's Children in Families funding supports child protection interventions that strengthen families, respond to children without family care and drive further evidence of innovative approaches.

GHR’s Children in Families partnerships aim to:

  • Strengthen family cohesion
  • Reduce the flow of children into orphanages and increase the flow of children out of orphanages
  • Transition children separated from their families back into stable family environments
  • Pursue systemic change through government-led and sustained family-based policies
  • Leverage funding and apply evidence-based knowledge in GHR focus countries
