The present study report is based on data collected through the National Mapping Exercise in India covering all child care institutions (CCIs)/Homes except 34 CCIs/Homes in Uttar Pradesh. These were not mapped in accordance with the request from the State Government. This data pertains to the year 2016 during which the Mapping visits were conducted. This cross sectional data might have undergone some changes after 2016.
