Save the Date: 1st Railway Children & Juconi International Conference - “Breaking the cycle: Reintegrating street-connected children: applying theory, developing the practice"

The conference will be held 16-18 November 2016 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. It is aimed at leaders, managers and practitioners from civil society, local government and academia that are working with or are concerned with street connected children and youth, and all children affected by family violence. The focus is on the development of effective practice, however the conference will also be used as a regional dissemination platform for the UN Guidelines on Reintegration. There will be a special session in the programme to present this international instrument due to be launched in 2016.
