Advisory Group
The Advisory Group is made up of individuals from national and international nongovernmental organizations, academic institutions, international organizations, government ministries, and independent consultants, all of whom have extensive experience in issues around care and support for vulnerable children and families. The Advisory Group is regionally balanced, and members do not pay fees.
Through Secretariat facilitation, Advisory Group members:
- Advise on strategic priorities and work plans of the Better Care Network Secretariat;
- Ensure the relevance and appropriateness of the Network's activities;
- Respond to specific request for technical guidance and support;
- Lead or contribute, as appropriate, to core advocacy and research initiatives; and
- Promote the aims and activities of the Better Care Network externally.
Since January 2011, BCN Advisory Group has included representatives from the following organizations:
