Dr. Frank Dimmock, from The Outreach Foundation, approached Hope and Homes for Children as he was concerned about the high numbers of children in Kenya growing up in orphanages. As a result of this partnership, with the help of the Kenyan Government, the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, and Transform Alliance Africa, a seminar was organised for orphanage owners on the importance of children growing up in safe and loving families.
