This report was conducted to provide an extensive assessment designed to map the existing child protection system in Zambia. This process involved unpacking the legislative framework underpinning child protection to understand the depth of coverage provided by both statutory provisions and customary law. The process was guided by a desire to have comprehensive, current and accurate picture of the strengths and weaknesses in the existing system.
