The 2019 United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Resolution on Policies and Programmes Involving Youth can be found on pages 19-27 of the Report of the Third Committee on Social Development. The Resolution highlights a number of concerns and recommendations regarding children's care, including: recognizing the importance of addressing the needs of youth in vulnerable situations; calling on States to implement the World Programme of Action for Youth, giving particular attention to young women, marginalized groups and young people belonging to vulnerable groups or in vulnerable situations, especially those living in areas of armed conflict; acknowledging the importance of participation of young people and youth-led organizations; and more.
