In order to strengthen the national response to child marriage, the Government of Zambia developed a five-year National Strategy on Ending Child Marriage (2016-2021). The strategy was developed with support from UNFPA, UNICEF, the UK Department for International Development (DFID), the Government of Canada, the US Agency for International Development (USAID), and with input from the Zambia NGO Coalition on Ending Child Marriage.
