Feeling Wanted: Educator’s DVD & Toolkit

Yasmin Mistry

Charell, age 6, woke up to find herself alone. She made breakfast, dropped her baby sister off with a neighbor, and walked to school. Her father was incarcerated for murder. Her mother was on drugs. Foster care was her next step.  In this film, Charell shares the story of how she broke free from the cycle that trapped her parents.

The Educator's DVD and Toolkit comes with an in-school/organization public screening license, as well as DVD extras and individual study guides for:

• foster youth (teens & young adults)
• current & prospective foster parents
• foster care professionals such as social workers, advocates, therapists, legal workers, mentors, or anyone who is working with the foster care community or in training to do so.
