The Nourished and Thriving Children toolkit was designed by SPOON to build capacity among the foster care community in feeding and nutrition topics so that they are equipped to address challenges commonly experienced by foster children. The goal is to improve the growth, health, and development of Oregon’s foster children, so they have the chance they deserve to be healthy and thriving.
This toolkit has been designed for use as part of a training-of-trainers (ToT) program, utilized by “master trainers” who have completed SPOON’s ToT workshop. For more information about the toolkit, contact SPOON staff at fostercare@spoonfoundation.org.
