Family Week is an opportunity for Family for Every Child's Family Alliance to come together, celebrate, connect, learn and reflect on joint actions. Family Week will explore both achievements and challenges in connection with the theme of children’s rights, through a dynamic series of online events and sharing of members’ news, updates, and campaigns. As Family Week coincides with the 30th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child [CRC], it is also a chance to recognise and discuss contributions to children's rights. This includes reflecting on where progress has been made on our thematic priorities across the membership, and the challenges and opportunities we face for the future.
Family Week’s programme includes both internal and external activities. During the week commencing 18 November, Family for Every Child invites all members to attend three key online events and will be sharing updates on alliance members' work and activities.
To aid participation in the live Q&A events, Family for Every Child has released short pre-recorded presentations from the panelists. These videos are designed to help you familiarise yourself with other members' work and potential cross-areas of interest, while the online events are a chance to ask questions. Note: multilingual captioning is available on all videos during Family Week, you can turn these on in the settings at the bottom of the YouTube videos.
