IFCO2007MALTA will seek to link together all those involved in the development of family-based care in the countries of the EU, CEE, CIS and nearby North Africa. Building on the success of recent IFCO European Conferences in Hungary, Ireland, Finland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, the 2007 conference will move to the island of Malta, one of the ten countries which joined the European Union in 2004.
IFCO2007MALTA will have a full programme of plenary and workshop sessions as well as project visits and an evening social programme. The conference language will be English. IFCO2007MALTA will be followed immediately by the Annual Conference of EuroChild which is also being organised in partnership with APPOGG. Some people may wish to attend both events.
Speakers and workshop leaders are invited to submit papers relevant to the development of foster care and quality care solutions for children in out of home care in the region. The deadline for papers is July 18. Click here or visit the IFCO2007MALTA website to for online submission.
