Family for Every Child is hosting an online event on Thursday 25 July 2019 at 15:00 UK time to discuss their latest research on what effective care looks like and the meaning of family. As part of the session, participants will hear from a diverse panel of child protection practitioners from around the world, who will share insights on the following reports:

Who Cares?:
The importance of children being well cared for in families is widely recognised in global policies and guidance, but what are the precise components of this care? And what elements are universal and what are culturally or contextually specific? This report contributes to debates on this important topic by providing perspectives from children and adults from Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Mexico, Russia, Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
