The 2019 OVC Applied Research & Best Practice Symposium will unite top academic OVC researchers and faith-based NGO's serving vulnerable children around the globe. Returning for its 6th consecutive year, this year’s presentations and discussion will center on:

- Why children who have experienced early adversity are more vulnerable to addiction and other negative impacts
- Guidelines and guardrails for protecting kids from harm
- What to do if your child and/or children you care for are addicted
- How to harness the gifts of technology while guarding against its harms
