The SAYes Alumni Group is hosting a series of online networking events presented by care-experienced young people from across the globe.
For our next event Lourdes Cafivela from Namibia will lead the presentation topic: "Care Leavers' Challenges from Education to Employment".
Lourdes has direct experience in institutional care and is passionate about connecting with and seeking opportunities for other care leavers. Her satisfaction is in seeing care leavers thrive in all spheres of life, especially in the professional sector. As part of contributing to care leavers, she has registered an organisation that seeks opportunities for care leavers to get skills training/employment through partnerships and funding opportunities.
This presentation will be followed by break-out room discussions for #CEP and #CEP supporters to connect and create new ideas for change.
The purpose of this event series is to bring care-experienced people and supporters from all over the world together to connect, expand and create new ideas for change.
