Promoting the effective integration and reintegration of children is an urgent priority as all regions grapple with extraordinary levels of conflict, disasters, mass migration, poverty and violence.
This How We Care online event will hear from three local civil society organisations (Family for Every Child Members) on the work they are doing in this area: Uyisenga Ni Imanzi (Rwanda) about their programme to reintegrate street-connected children; Taller de Vida (Colombia) about the role of their arts and music-based therapy in the reintegration of children associated with armed conflict; and METAdrasi (Greece) on the role of their Supported Independent Living programme in the integration of unaccompanied minors.
Presentations will be followed by Q&A and panel discussion. Recordings will also be made available at howwecare.community.
