This webinar provides an opportunity to share experiences on the transformation of residential care. The webinar will begin with an introductory presentation by Rebecca Nhep, Senior Technical Advisor, Better Care Network, who will shed light on emerging lessons and ongoing efforts/work done to ensure effective transitioning. We will then have a panel discussion on the transformation of Catholic child-care institutions in Zambia and Uganda and the transformation of residential care facilities for children with disability in Rwanda. At the end of the webinar, we will learn about the government’s perspectives on linking the transformation of residential care to system-level reforms.

Ce webinaire est l'occasion de partager des expériences sur la transformation de l'hébergement. Le webinaire débutera par une présentation introductive de Rebecca Nhep, conseillère technique principale, Better Care Network, qui mettra en lumière les leçons émergentes et les efforts/travail en cours pour assurer une transition efficace. Nous aurons ensuite une table ronde sur la transformation des institutions catholiques de garde d'enfants en Zambie et en Ouganda et sur la transformation des établissements de soins résidentiels pour enfants handicapés au Rwanda. À la fin du webinaire, nous découvrirons les perspectives du gouvernement sur le lien entre la transformation des soins en établissement et les réformes au niveau du système.

O webinar começará com uma apresentação introdutória de Rebecca Nnep, consultora técnica sênior da Better Care Network, que esclarecerá as lições emergentes e os esforços/trabalhos contínuos realizados para garantir uma transição eficaz. Em seguida, teremos um painel de discussão sobre a transformação das instituições católicas de assistência à infância na Zâmbia e em Uganda e a transformação das instituições de assistência residencial para crianças com deficiência em Ruanda. No final do webinar, aprenderemos sobre as perspectivas do governo em vincular a transformação do atendimento residencial às reformas em nível de sistema.
