The 1st Care Leavers Convention being held from March 13 – 14, 2020 in India, is providing an opportunity for practioners, NGOs, professionals, researchers, students and organisations to showcase their research work, promising practices, good models and insights with Care Leavers.
Overview: A poster is a graphical approach to presenting research. In presenting your research or model in the form of a poster, you should aim to use the poster as a means for generating active discussion of your work. Your poster should convey your key findings and be visually appealing to grab the attention of attendees. So be clear, concise and creative. To supplement your poster, prepare handouts and be ready to answer questions and explain your research in greater detail.
Deadline:
- Please, send your abstract by February 10, 2020. Limited space is available and hence the organising committee will review on first come basis.
- Final Posters (pdf) must be submitted by February 29, 2020.
Topics for poster presentations:
Poster presentations in all areas related to Care Leavers can be submitted. Some areas could be:
- Promising practice or good model of work with Care Leavers
- Recent research studies done on Aftercare or Care Leavers
- Success stories of Care Leaver
- Process of formation and strengthening of Care Leavers Network
