The 4Children project aims in part to strengthen and build the evidence base for effective Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) programming through research and evaluation. Although the design of KCHPF in each country is still underway, a dedicated Program Specialist is needed to provide technical and administrative support to the project in the coming year. The tasks will vary as the project evolves, continually building on the evidence and learning of earlier activities and on changing demands that may occur in the environment. S/he assists senior and program staff to ensure a strong link between CRS global systems and services (e.g. finance, contracts, operations, and human resources) and the KCHPF project including liaising with USAID-DCOF, 4Children partners and country teams to support the smooth running of the project. This position requires strong demonstrated experience in the areas of project management and operations, consultant management as well as a strong knowledge of donor, especially USG contracts/grant agreements, and program support needs.
