Catholic Relief Services (CRS) is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor for Family Strengthening and Child Protection for the Comprehensive Care for Children Affected by HIV and AIDS (C3) project: a five-year, global USAID-funded project that provides technical expertise for increasing the capacity of program implementers and key actors within systems of protection, care and support, enabling them to effectively address the unique and multi-faceted needs of children affected by the HIV epidemic.
Responsibilities of the Senior Technical Advisor will include: developing a conceptual framework (theory of change), designing three country-based projects and overseeing the implementation of those designs, providing quality assurance, facilitating long-term engagement for capacity-building, and more.
Qualifications include: Master’s Degree or higher in social work, social sciences or a closely related field; at least seven years of work experience in child welfare and protection, of which at least five years were in a developing country; experience designing, implementing and managing country-level initiatives in child welfare and protection systems, family strengthening, community mobilization, and/or social service workforce initiatives in/for developing countries; fluency in English; ability to travel extensively, and more.
