The Department of State’s Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (TIP Office) announces an open competition for Fiscal Year (FY) 2019 projects to combat trafficking in persons outside of the United States. Applicants are invited to submit proposals describing how they will address a minimum of one of the programming activities described in the Notice of Funding Opportunity. In particular, there is a grant for addressing the heightened vulnerabilities children face from placement in institutional care in Nepal.
Organizations eligible to apply include U.S.-based and foreign nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), public international organizations (PIOs), non-profits, for-profit organizations, and institutions of higher education. For-profit organizations are not permitted to generate profits from grant-funded activities. U.S. government agencies and foreign governments are not eligible to apply.
Proposals must be submitted via SAMS Domestic (https://mygrants.service-now.com/grants) by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) on May 3, 2019, to be eligible for consideration. To be competitive under this funding opportunity, applicants must be fully responsive to all directions in the Notice of Funding Opportunity.
