Background
Since the onset of COVID 19 crisis in Romania, UNICEF developed a preparedness and response plan for assisting the Romanian authorities for designing and implementation of immediate measures that must be undertaken in priority to ensure preparedness and/or response actions to address the COVID-2019 outbreak in Romania and the challenges it poses to the protection of children from inter alia violence exploitation and abuse as well as other predicaments undermining their healthy development and potential to thrive.
