World Vision International is in search of a Child Protection Manager to support World Vision Lao PDR’s strategic goal to bring change in the lives of children in Laos, particularly to ensure that children are protected and participate in development programs. This role has a strong focus on strengthening WVL’s evidence based Child Protection programming and ensuring that Child Protection interventions are in line with WV partnership and humanitarian industry global standards.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead, approve, coordinate and disseminate sector strategy, program logic, models and best practices.
- Prioritize Protection and Participation related partnership initiatives and develop a contextualized material for Laos programming.
- Map WVL child protection and participation activities/policies and approaches, and design a framework to refocus in more integrated ways. Incorporate Government approaches and policies into this thinking.
- Develop and deliver training curriculum to Zone/Government counterpart staff to enable accountable, evidence based, quality ministry that brings sustained improvements to well-being of children.
