"Up to 40 new areas will benefit from £15 million to expand promising innovative approaches to keeping families safely together," says this news release from the UK Department for Education. The new program is called 'Supporting Families; Investing in Practice' and its aim is to prevent children being taken into care by strengthening the "expert support available from social workers, addiction specialists and psychiatrists" to "help create stability in the home for young people."
