In a follow-up to a previous article on an illegal baby trade in Kenya, this article explores the experiences of mothers who make the decision to give up their children to traffickers. "Many women will know the anxiety of preparing to bring a child into the world without enough money to feed one person, let alone two," says the article. "Most will never contemplate selling a child to a stranger. But for some expectant mothers in poverty in Kenya, selling a baby to traffickers has become the last in a limited number of options for survival."
