The topic of this webinar is child and youth participation in monitoring and evaluation. This video provides a brief context of child participation and participatory methods.
In child and youth participation, it is critical to understand the world through their eyes without making assumptions. Participatory methods help develop indicators that are socially and culturally grounded. Participatory methods strengthen ownership and sustainability of interventions and involve children in data-gathering in a meaningful way.
In this short video, Lopa Bhattacharjee, Project Coordinator of the RISE Learning Network, gives us an introduction to involving children and youth in monitoring and evaluation extracted from the RISE Monitoring and Evaluation of Reintegration Toolkit
