This video from the BBC tells the story of Tommy, an 81 year-old man who grew up in the Quarriers care home in Renfrewshire, Scotland and suffered incredible abuse at the hands of his carers for over a decade. Tommy is now "making up for the childhood he never had." He is now able to tell his story, and with the help of a local charity Mind Mosaic, he's completing a bucket list of experiences he missed as a child.
