This issue of the BCN newsletter focuses on children with disabilities and includes the recordings of several recent virtual events focused on the care of children with disabilities and preventing their institutionalization. The issue also shares tools, guidance, information, and other resources regarding children's care and protection during the COVID-19 pandemic as practitioners, policymakers, and other key stakeholders work to respond to the needs of children and families impacted by this crisis. The issue features a new discussion paper produced by UNICEF and Better Care Network which elaborates on the extraordinary challenges facing children and families across the globe, and the steps that can be taken to ensure their inclusion in COVID-19 recovery plans, along with other resources, news, videos, events, and jobs and opportunities related to children's care.
