GAJOP's objectives are:

• To contribute to the realization of the rights to citizen security and social justice;
• To act in the promotion and defense of the Rights of the Child and the Adolescent;
• Collaborate for the construction of a culture of Human Rights that will enable the rootedness in society of the values of the Democratic State of Law;
• Conduct studies and research on human rights;
• Contribute to the preservation of life, physical and psychological integrity, the achievement of freedom and the egalitarian conditions of people;
• Promote training in Human Rights.
