UNICEF Costa Rica helped to develop and promote a Plan of Action on the National Policy for Children and Adolescents and works to promote and advocate for the formulation of social policies at the municipal level in order to provide the necessary support to local governments to consider the rights of children and adolescents when planning local development and budgets.
