The Empowering Children Foundation (formerly Nobody’s Children Foundation) has been active since 1991.
The Empowering Children Foundation works towards making sure that all children have a safe childhood and are treated with respect for their dignity, as full-fledged human beings. Their activities are focused on protecting children from abuse and on minimising the effects of the abuse experience. They attach great importance to supporting parents so that children can get the best possible care and parenting from them.

What They Do
Their facilities offer psychological and legal help to children who have experienced abuse (physical, emotional or sexual abuse, neglect, cyberbullying) and to their families. They also support parents of young children (0–6) who for different reasons are not well prepared to care for and raise their children in a conscious and safe way. Their goal is to support children in overcoming the trauma related to the experience of abuse. Empowering Children Foundation helps them to regain self-confidence and to start enjoying life again.
