ENFOQUE Niñez (FOCUS Childhood) is a Paraguayan civil society organization which began in 2005 with the mission of providing a concrete response to the protection of children and adolescents separated from their families by situations of social difficulty, respecting their superior interest in living in a family environment that promotes their integral development.

What They Do
Enfoque has a team of professionals in psychology, social work and law, recognized for their experience and commitment. The work it carries out is based on three main lines of action :
- Maintaining the link with families of children and adolescents promoting their reintegration into the family so as to guarantee the right to grow up with the family, thus avoiding institutionalization.
- Family support through the recruitment of voluntary families who care for children and adolescents temporarily while the work of maintaining the family bond is being carried out.
- Comprehensive care through a network of services and professionals to guarantee access to health, play, education, housing, among others.
The organization also provides training aimed at professionals, civil society organizations and the State, within the framework of the Comprehensive Protection Doctrine and is involved in public policy based on research, systematization of experiences and processes, production of materials, dissemination and participation in networks.
