This report from Change the Record aims to provide an Australian national overview of the Critical Condition of First Nations communities during Covid-19. It contains the observations, testimonials and evidence collected by their member organisations who work on the frontline across the health, legal and community sectors, and every day navigate the impacts of Covid-19 policies on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The report includes evidence on the impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on children in detention centers as well as children in out-of-home care and their families. It concludes with a series of recommendations on providing protection and relief to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
