This Thank You is intended for the thousands of people who contributed to the Scottish Independent Care Review, volunteering to take part in the groups and give their time, professional expertise, stories, and experiences. The Care Review heard over 5,500 experiences, over half of which were children, young people and adults who had lived in care. The rest were families and the paid and unpaid workforce.
The Thank You report describes the process of the Care Review and how children, young people and adults with care experience were involved. It lists many of the organizations and individuals who were involved in the Review, including CELCIS and Strathclyde University who supported the Review, the group of grant making foundations and philanthropists who have tracked the progress of the Care Review, Who Cares? Scotland, whose 1000 Voices campaign was the catalyst for the Care Review, and others. The report lists the names of the Discovery Group members, Journey Group co-chairs and Human and Economic Cost Model Steering Group members.
