The Child Rights Civil Society Coalition (CRC) is a voluntary network of South Sudanese Civil Society Organizations committed to ensuring that all children fully enjoy their rights as defined by the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Child Rights Coalition provides a coordinated platform for CSOs action and plays a central role in key child rights developments at the state and national level in South Sudan. The Coalition's mission is to initiate and influence policies and actions to promote, protect and respect the rights of children in South Sudan.

Child Rights Connect (formerly known as the NGO Group for the CRC) is an independent, non-profit network of 84 national, regional and international organisations, networks and coalitions that support children’s rights, and include a focus on children without parental care.

 

CRIN is a global research, policy and advocacy organisation grounded in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, which promotes children’s rights including adequate care.

Child Rights Network for Southern Africa promotes practices and policies that fulfill children’s rights and welfare through national networks and engages with regional and international institutions for improved quality of life for children. It's goal is to improve child rights governance in Southern Africa through strengthened country child rights networks that effectively protect, promote the rights of children to ensure appropriate child development and child participation in decisions that affect them.

Child Safe Horizons works with various international organisations including the UN, INGOs, NGOs, and faith-based organisations on developing child safeguarding policies and procedures, as well as roll out strategies to assist in the prevention of child abuse within organisations. They assist in: research; organisational policies and procedures; developing policies that are in line with donor requirements yet specific to the cultural, programmatic and country needs. They specialise in capacity building of staff and management.

The Child Safe Tourism campaign arms travelers with knowledge and information on simple actions to protect children and young people from abuse in tourism areas. The Child Safe Tourism campaign is part of an Australian Government initiative, Project Childhood, which aims to combat the sexual exploitation of children in travel and tourism in the Mekong sub-region. Project Childhood builds on Australia’s long-term support for programs that better protect children and prevent their abuse.

Child Steps International is a non profit that works in the Republic of Liberia on areas related to children’s care. Child Steps International was founded to ensure that the rights of children in war-torn countries are known and protected. One of its programs includes a civics curriculum for school children to learn about their rights and responsibilities in order to become active participants in their communities and to sustain peace.

Their clients are researchers, policymakers, funders, and practitioners. All of their work is aimed at improving children’s lives, now and in the future. Topics of research include child maltreatment/child welfare, and families and parenting.
