The funding opportunity is open from January 5, 2023 until February 6, 2023 and will support CSOs that support the needs of vulnerable and marginalised groups and support integration and social cohesion, in the early recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine.

SCSO will be looking to receive proposals for initiatives at the local level that will benefit vulnerable and marginalised groups with community interventions ranging from service delivery in community education, health and social support to initiatives involving work between local government and CSOs in the recovery and reconstruction efforts in Ukraine.

Priority will be given to proposals that will target the following marginalised and excluded groups in recovery and reconstruction efforts:

CSOs working with and/or advancing the rights of:

  • people with disabilities, institutionalized people, and children
  • Roma and LGBTQI+
  • elderly people , especially those living in remote rural locations
  • internally displaced persons and initiatives targeting gender-based violence

We encourage both well-established as well as newly created and grassroots CSOs to apply. Volunteer networks of CSOs are also eligible to apply.

CSOs wanting to propose projects in a consortia or groups are strongly encouraged to apply.

This fund will accept proposals up to GBP 250,000 per application for up to 12 months with a minimum duration of three months.

Please note that due to the expected high volume of applications, it might take us up to 2 months to review your application.
