Convention on the Rights of the Child Coalition for Thailand

The Convention on the Rights of the Child Coalition for Thailand (CRCCT) members are working in partnership with each other and with the Royal Thai Government with the aim of facilitating full implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child in Thailand. The CRCCT has six working groups covering different areas of child rights, including an Alternative Care Working Group. The Alternative Care Working Group has developed a website that serves as a resource for government officials, children's home staff, volunteers, and donors. The CRC Coalition works to to follow up and give suggestions to the government and civil society regarding child-related operations in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and Optional Protocol, including recommendations from the United Nations Children's Rights Committee.
