This brief presents findings from a workforce capacity study involving an online survey of 2,448 social sector professionals and focus group discussions conducted across Dnipro, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Volyn oblasts. While respondents demonstrated a strong foundation of knowledge and a commitment to continuous learning, nearly two-thirds (65.9 per cent) indicated that additional training is needed to effectively implement the Strategy for Ensuring Every Child's Right to Grow Up in a Family Environment (2024–2028). The assessment identifies consistent gaps in practical skills related to early identification and intervention, disability inclusion, independent living, responding to violence, and digital case management.
