This video is a part of the CNN Freedom Project: Ending Modern-Day Slavery. The video features an interview with Teresia, a girl who was recruited into an orphanage in Kenya from the care of her aunt and was forced to "entertain" volunteers and lie about the conditions of the institution in order to appease them. This was done in order to solicit donations, which were used to benefit the orphanage director, and not the children, according to the video. The video highlights the exploitative nature of such orphanages and strengthens the connection between orphanage trafficking and modern slavery.
