BCN Newsletter: August 2026
The August 2026 Better Care Network newsletter highlights new research, guidance, tools, and learning opportunities focused on strengthening family-based care and improving outcomes for children and young people without adequate parental care. This edition features the first newsletter from the Global Campaign on Children’s Care Reform, which reports that 38 countries and 137 organisations have joined the Campaign and that 11 signatory countries have made 57 national reform commitments. It also highlights new resources from the Better Care for Every Child programme in Ukraine, including guidance on positive parenting, early intervention, meaningful participation, family reintegration, and strengthening the social sector workforce.
