The Africa Early Childhood Network (AfECN) is a registered non-profit, established in 2015 to serve as a platform to champion excellence and collaboration in protecting children's rights, influence policy and practice, strengthen partnerships, and share experiences and knowledge in ECD on the African continent. The network is comprised of organisations from civil society, academia, government, and the private sector at national and regional levels.

The Africa Network of Care-Leaving Researchers is an on-line space for collaboration between researchers across Africa in the field of young people transitioning out of alternative care. Their purpose is to understand the care-leaving process and to contribute towards child and youth care policy and practice to improve the kinds of supports provided to care-leavers (in terms of practice, programmes, policy and legislation).

 

A one-stop shop for all African child rights resources, the main objective of the InfoHub is to create a forum to facilitate the exchange of information, ideas and experiences on matters relating to children. The information hub includes a database of resources on child participation, child protection, vulnerable children, and more.

The African Child Policy Forum an independent, not-for-profit pan-African institution of policy research and dialogue, that works through the Child and the Family Programme to promote policies and programmes that strengthen families and protect children from violence.

 

The African Network for the Prevention and Protection against Child Abuse and Neglect (ANPPCAN) is a pan African network that promotes child rights and child protection in Africa.

 

Formed in 2008, the AfricaWide movement for Children (AMC) is a Pan African Civil Society Organisation providing a continental platform for child focussed NGOs, development agencies and individuals to collectively work on initiatives for the protection and development of Africa's Children.

 

Established in January 2013, the AfriChild Centre undertakes multidisciplinary research, evidence-based knowledge building, skills development and influences policy and practice for the wellbeing of the African child.

The Centre is promoted by ChildFund International – Uganda Office, the Ministry of Gender Labor and Social Development, Makerere University, Transcultural Psychosocial Organization (TPO), Uganda, United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and Columbia University.

Agape Children's Ministry, established in 1993, is a Christian faith-based organization that reunites street-children and at-risk children with their families. Agape uses an individualized reunification plan for each child to successfully rescue, rehabilitate and reintegrate children back with their families.
